US Mint Release El Yunque National Forest Quarter Bags and Rolls

El Yunque National Forest Quarter Bags and Two-Roll Sets (US Mint images)Today, February 3, 2012, at Noon (Eastern), the United States Mint officially released the first America the Beautiful Quarter® of the year in both bags and two-roll sets. The El Yunque National Forest Quarter Two-Roll Sets and the El Yunque National Forest Quarter 100-Coin Bags are now available for $32.95 and 34.95, respectively.

Included in the El Yunque National Forest Quarter Two-Rolls Sets are a total of 80 El Yunque National Forest Quarters struck to circulation quality. One roll in the set contains 40 strikes from the US Mint's facility in Philadelphia and one roll contains 40 strikes from the US Mint's facility in Denver.

Buyer's receive both rolls with each order. Each roll is wrapped in special paper indicating the face value of the contents ($10), "America the Beautiful Quarters Program," "El Yunque National Forest (PR)" and a "P" or a "D" indicating which facility the coins were struck at.

The 100-coin bags contain either 100 circulation quality strikes from the Philadelphia facility or 100 circulation quality strikes from the Denver facility - buyer's choice. These strikes are placed in a canvas bag complete with a label indicating their contents.

Both El Yunque National Forest Quarter options are available now from the US Mint. Orders may be placed by calling 1-800-USA-MINT or by using the Mint's online store found at http://catalog.usmint.gov.
