The United States Mint has issued bags and rolls of the second 2012-dated America the Beautiful Quarter®. Beginning at Noon, Eastern, on April 2, 2012, buyers were able to order 100-coin bags or two-roll sets of the Chaco Culture National Historical Park Quarter.

These new strikes are the twelfth released overall in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program which debuted in 2010 and features reverse designs emblematic of selected sites of national interest from around the United States. Shown on the reverse of this specific release is a design emblematic of Chaco Culture National Historical Park located in the state of New Mexico.

The US Mint describes the reverse design with:

"The reverse of the second quarter of 2012 illustrates a view to the west of two elevated kivas that are part of the Chetro Ketl Complex.  The design also shows the north wall of Chetro Ketl and the north wall of the canyon.  Inscriptions are CHACO CULTURE, NEW MEXICO, 2012 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.  The reverse was designed by AIP Master Designer Donna Weaver and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Phebe Hemphill."

For $32.95, buyers may purchase two-roll sets of the Chaco Culture Quarter which contains one roll of 40 circulation quality quarters from the US Mint's facility in Philadelphia and one roll of 40 circulation quality quarters from the US Mint's facility in Denver. Each roll contains printing indicating its contents of Chaco Quarters along with the face value of the rolls and the minting facility responsible for striking the coins within.

At $34.95, 100-coin bags of the Chaco Culture ATB Quarters may be purchased. Buyers have the choice of a bag containing circulation quality strikes from the Philadelphia facility or a bag containing circulation quality strikes from the Denver facility.

Both the bags and two-roll sets are available now directly from the US Mint. Orders may be placed by using the United States Mint website at http://www.usmint.gov/ or by calling the toll free number 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468).
