The 2011 US Mint Silver Proof Set was released from the United States Mint on January 25, 2011 and sold for $67.95. Included in the set are fourteen proof quality examples of the circulating coinage of the United States, with seven of those coins struck from 90% silver.

The seven that are struck from silver include the five 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters®, the Kennedy Half Dollar and the Roosevelt Dime. Combined, the seven coins total approximately 1.338 ounces of the precious metal.

All of the coins are struck to proof quality at the US Mint's facility in San Francisco. The coins are then encased in special protective lenses which allow the holder to view both the obverse and reverse designs of each coin.

The 2011 US Mint Proof Set contains the following coins:

• 2011-S Lincoln Cent with a portrait of the 16th President of the United States who served from 1861-1865
• 2011-S Jefferson Nickel with a portrait of the 3rd President who served from 1801-1809
• 2011-S Roosevelt Dime struck from 90% silver with a portrait of the 32nd President who served from 1933-1945
• 2011-S Gettysburg Quarter struck from 90% silver honoring Gettysburg National Military Park of Pennsylvania
• 2011-S Glacier Quarter struck from 90% silver honoring Glacier National Park of Montana
• 2011-S Olympic Quarter struck from 90% silver honoring Olympic National Park of Washington
• 2011-S Vicksburg Quarter struck from 90% silver honoring Vicksburg National Military Park of Mississippi
• 2011-S Chickasaw Quarter struck from 90% silver honoring Chickasaw National Recreation Area of Oklahoma
• 2011-S Kennedy Half Dollar struck from 90% silver with a portrait of the 35th President of the United States who served from 1961-1963
• 2011-S Andrew Johnson Presidential $1 Coin honoring the 17th US President who served from 1865-1869
• 2011-S Ulysses S. Grant Presidential $1 Coin honoring the 18th US President who served from 1869-1877
• 2011-S Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential $1 Coin honoring the 19th US President who served from 1877-1881
• 2011-S James Garfield Presidential $1 Coin honoring the 20th US President who served in 1881
• 2011-S Native American $1 Coin featuring Sacagawea on the obverse and a "Diplomacy—Treaties with Tribal Nations" reverse theme
