2011 Presidential $1 Coin Uncirculated Set

The 2011 Presidential $1 Coin Uncirculated Set includes coins honoring the seventeenth through the twentieth former Presidents of the United States. In fact, the set honors each of those Presidents with two coins each, for a total of eight coins included in the set. Each President will be represented by one dollar coin struck at the US Mint's facility in Denver and one dollar coin struck at the US Mint's facility in Philadelphia. These coins will bear the appropriate "D" or "P" mintmark, respectively. The two minting facilities included here are responsible for striking all of the circulating coinage of the United States. Coins of the set will be shipped in presentation folders with one folder containing the strikes from Philadelphia and one folder containing the strikes of Denver. Also included on the folders will be information relating to the honored Presidents. The set is scheduled to be issued on April 27, 2011.
