The 2009 Presidential Dollar Coin Uncirculated Set includes four $1 coins minted from Denver and four from Philadelphia. Each includes the respective "D" or "P" or mint mark, denoting their striking locations

Released by the United States Mint on April 2, 2009, for the price of $15.95, the coins within the set are housed in a presentation folder with biographical sketches, notable quotes and portraits of each President.

"Each coin is mounted in an individual protective, rotatable blister; edge-incused inscriptions on the coins are fully visible," states the US Mint product page for the set. "An image of the President appears on each obverse of the coins and the common reverse features a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty."

• 2009 P & D Harrison Presidential $1 Coin - 9th President, with the coin sculpted and designed by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Joseph Menna. 

• 2009 P & D John Tyler Presidential $1 Coin - 10th President, with the coin honoring him designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Phebe Hemphill. 

• 2009 P & D James K. Polk Presidential $1 Coin - 11th President, with the commemorative dollar designed by United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program Master Designer Susan Gamble and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Charles Vickers. 

• 2009 P & D Zachary Taylor Presidential $1 Coin - 12th President, with the $1 coin designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Don Everhart.  

Each of the dollars has a common reverse (tails side) of the Statue of Liberty, designed and sculpted by Don Everhart.
