2012 US Coin and Currency Set

One of the most currently talked about United States Mints products will make its sales entrance on August 7, 2012. At 12 Noon ET on that day, the US Mint will launch the Making American History Coin and Currency Set.

2012 American Eagle San Francisco Two-Coin Silver Proof Set

Sales end for the 2012 American Eagle Two-Coin Silver Proof Set on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 5:00 PM ET.

Each silver proof set includes two American Silver Eagle coins that are minted at the San Francisco Mint and bear a denoting "S" mint mark. The San Francisco Mint has not struck a proof American Eagle since 1992. [click to continue…]

Acadia National Park Quarter Bags, Rolls and Three Coin Sets

The third 2012-dated strike of the United States Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters® Program will be featured in three new product releases from the US Mint this week. The 2012 Acadia National Park Quarter will be offered in bags, rolls and a three-coin set with the bags and rolls debuting today, June 11, 2012 and the three-coin set appearing tomorrow, June 12, 2012.

All three product options include differing quantities and/or qualities of the Acadia Quarter. This coin showcases an image emblematic of Acadia National Park of Maine on the reverse by depicting a view of the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse and Acadia's rough coastline. It was designed by AIP Associate Designer Barbara Fox and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Joseph Menna.

2012 American Eagle San Francisco Two-Coin Silver Proof Set

Making its debut today, June 7, 2012, from the United States Mint was the 2012 American Eagle San Francisco Two-Coin Silver Proof Set. Pricing of the new set is $149.95, plus the US Mint's standard shipping and handling charge of $4.95 per order.

The US Mint has not placed a maximum mintage or household ordering limit on the set. Instead, the two-coin product will be available for ordering for four weeks ending on July 5, at 5 PM ET.

2012 United States Mint Silver Proof Set®

The United States Mint today, June 4, 2012, released the 2012 United States Mint Silver Proof Set®. The annual set went on sale beginning at Noon (Eastern) and is available for $67.95, plus the US Mint's standard shipping and handling charge of $4.95 per order.

Included as part of the set are a total of fourteen coins representing the standard circulating coinage issued by the United States. Coins of the set, however, are struck to proof quality.

2012 Star-Spangled Banner Bicentennial Silver Dollar Set

A limited edition commemorative coin product was released by the United States Mint today, June 1, 2012. Beginning at Noon (Eastern), the US Mint began offering the 2012 Star-Spangled Banner Bicentennial Silver Dollar Set for $53.95, plus the Mint's standard shipping and handling charge of $4.95 per order with a maximum mintage for the set established at just 50,000.

Included as part of the set is one Proof Silver Dollar Star-Spangled Banner Commemorative Coin. Also found in the set is information and colorful artwork related to the Battle of Baltimore fought during the War of 1812 and a reproduction of one of Francis Scott Key's original manuscripts of his poem "The Star-Spangled Banner" which he wrote after witnessing the battle.

2012 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin™ – El Yunque National Forest, Puerto Rico

The first of five 2012-dated America the Beautiful Five Ounce Uncirculated Coins™ has been released for sale to the public by the United States Mint. Beginning at Noon (Eastern) today, May 29, 2012, the 2012-P El Yunque National Forest Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin went on sale for $204.95, plus the US Mint's standard shipping and handling charge of $4.95 per order.

Shown on the reverse of the El Yunque ATB 5 Oz Silver Coin is a design emblematic of El Yunque National Forest located in the United States territory of Puerto Rico. It is the same design first featured on the related El Yunque Quarter Dollar released into circulation earlier this year.

Grover-Cleveland-Presidential-1-coin-rolls-bags-and-boxes

The United States Mint today, May 25, 2012, began offering the Grover Cleveland (First Term) Presidential $1 Coin for sale to the public in rolls, bags and boxes. These varying formats each offer different numbers of the coin and also allows collectors the opportunity to obtain them from the two different facilities responsible for striking the circulating versions of the coin.

The Grover Cleveland (First Term) Presidential $1 Coin is the second of four coins to be issued as part of the Presidential $1 Coin Program in 2012. It also marks the twenty-second to be issued in the series overall which debuted in 2007.

2012 America the Beautiful Quarters (US Mint images)

As early as June, the United States Mint may release circulation quality 2012-S America the Beautiful quarters in products for coin collectors.

2012 Kennedy Half-Dollar (US Mint image)

2012 Kennedy Half Dollar Coins are now available for ordering from the United States Mint in both bags and two-roll sets. Both options went on sale beginning at Noon (Eastern) today, May 15, 2012.

The 200-Coin Bags contain 100-circulation quality Kennedy Half Dollars from the United States Mint's facility in Philadelphia and 100-circulation quality Kennedy Half Dollars from the United States Mint's facility in Denver. Each bag contains a label imprinted with both a 'P' and a 'D' representing both facilities. The bag shows "UNITED STATES MINT," "KENNEDY HALF DOLLARS" and the face value of the contents "$100.00."

The United States Mint today (May 14, 2012) began offering the 2012 Native American $1 Coin 100-Coin Bags for sale to the public. Each 100-Coin bag is being offered for $111.95, plus the US Mint's standard shipping and handling charge of $4.95 per order.

Included in each bag are 100-circulating quality 2012 Native American $1 Coins. Buyers have the choice of a bag contains $1 coins struck at the US Mint's facility in Denver or $1 coins struck at the US Mint's facility in Philadelphia.
